Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  Day 1

   

  Arrival at Airport/Railway Station in Kochi - the starting pint of your pilgrimage trip..   Transfer to your Hotel and settle down. Do Kochi local sightseeing. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kochi

   

   

  Day 2

   

  Early morning, prepare yourself for the temple tour. The Temple worship timings begin from 4:00 am till 11:00 am, before noon. Start your temple ‘darshan’ at:

   

  • Devi Temple, Chottanikkara

  (One among the most sacred Goddess Temples in South India)

   

  Then proceed and seek blessings at:

   

  • Mahadeva Temple, Vaikom

  (Abode of Lord Shiva - one of the largest and the oldest of Kerala Temple)

   

  Drive to Ettumanoor, en-route pray at:

   

  • Mahadeva Temple, Kaduthuruthy

  (Lord Shiva Temple situated mid-way between Vaikom and Ettumanoor)

   

  Finally worship at:

   

  • Mahadeva Temple, Ettumanoor 

  (Lord Shiva Temple - it is believed that worships at the Temple-trio of Ettumanoor, Kaduthuruthy and Vaikom before 'Ucha pooja' at noon, fulfills all wishes)

   

  Afterwards return to your Hotel at Kochi and relax. Stay overnight at the Hotel.

   

   

  Day 3

   

  Today, rise early and checkout from the Hotel.. Then drive to Guruvayur, the legendary Temple town. After reaching the destination, worship at:

   

  • Lord Sree Krishna Temple, Guruvayur

  (Abode of Guruvayurappan, Lord Krishna in child-form, which ranks amongst the holiest in the country)

   

  After breakfast, continue your prayers at:

   

  • Lord Shiva Temple, Mammiyoor

  (Abode of Lord Shiva, located very near to Guruvayur Krishna Temple)

   

  Temple morning worship ends at 10:30 am. Afterwards visit Punnathur Kotta (former fort & palace, now functions as Elephant Sanctuary). Then drive to Thrissur.. Check in to the Hotel on arrival. Overnight stay at Thrissur

   

   

  Day 4

   

  Start your morning worship at:

   

  • Vadakkumnathan Temple, Thrissur

  (A huge Temple of Lord Shiva nestled in the town center. The venue of ‘Thrissur Pooram’ - Kerala’s biggest festival event)

   

  Your pilgrimage trip concludes.. Drive back to Kochi Airport / Railway Station for departure
